yeah its another reddit repost, deal with it... what do you think though, does this have merit?

"Starfield Voice Over/Performance capture/voice acting has been going on for a while now already (proof inside comments) +more"

I hope the main character will be voice acted. Their was speculation that it would be just text based.
Who in the real world doesn't want their character to not talk. (not discriminating against people who have a disability)
Do you want to read paragraphs of dialogue. In game jokes don't work in text. That's why Fallout 4 is great and why
similar talking games are so much better than text based of the 2010's. Even the 2020's don't seem natural.
The vocal minority hate the talking games and also hated the "settlement building" in FO4 which is excellent.
They keep on saying it's not part of the Fallout,Elder Scrolls,Starfield lore? (which hasn't been written yet) You didn't
have the technology at the start to put in voices and it is you're game.
You invented the games so YOU say what the lore is and in which direction you take it. What does the Lore actually mean
and does it even exist. It's just a game not a real event.
You're the ones putting in the millions of dollars not the minorities only paying $80 who demand you do things their way.
They will still buy the game and complain as they enjoy doing. It's always the minority who ruin it for everyone.
Do they want NPC's to talk and not the main character, that's really logical and real life?

To suit everyone you could put in a slider to turn off character sound.

Voiced or no doesnt matter to me. It always seems to bring big debate though.
